Acute care settings can expose staff to job-related stressors, which has been especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic response. As an innovative approach to support critical care staff, Pups Assisting Wellness for Staff (P.A.W.S.) was launched in 2018 at BC’s Level 1 Trauma Centre – Vancouver General Hospital.
