The toxic drug supply in BC is killing 6 people per day. This fireside chat will discuss, explore, and learn from the last 6 years since BC declared a public health emergency due to an unprecedented rise in overdose deaths. This panel of experts represents clinical practice, lived experience, and policy leadership who have directly led health system innovations as part of the provincial overdose response. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions about their experiences, lessons learned, and hopes for the future.
