To our valued CCHL members, LEADS advocate and supporter, we are happy to announce some exciting news…
As part of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL)’s strategy to have ‘one voice’ by aligning its offerings and services to members, LEADS clients and stakeholders, and for clearer brand recognition, our ‘LEADS Canada’ team will be transitioning to the Canadian College of Health Leaders ‘Professional & Leadership Development’ (PLD) Team, effective immediately.
The LEADS in a Caring Environment leadership capabilities framework will continue to be the foundation for our LEADS services, certifications and licensing.
As part of this transition, we will be updating the existing LEADS Canada website to reflect this change. We hope to launch the website by end of May 2021. The new Professional & Leadership Development (PLD) website will have similar branding to the existing CCHL site but will have some recognizable ‘LEADS’ orange accent. The PLD website and social media will continue to promote all the College’s professional development activities such as webinars (national, chapters, leadership development programs), LEADS-based development opportunities, certifications, online and in-person workshops etc., and the LEADS logo and branding will continue to be referenced for all LEADS activities and offerings.
The College will continue to be the first point of contact for all national and chapter webinars, membership, corporate, awards and conferences messaging.
You may have already noticed the change in our position titles, our email signature branding and some of our recent email communications.
Our team’s name change will not affect our services, relationship or roles with our members, LEADS Canada Coaches, Facilitators, Integrators, clients, or partners. LEADS Canada will continue to exist for all our LEADS certification and licensing (individual and organizational) as well as for all non-healthcare related work.
The PLD website will continue to house the LEADS Canada content and information as well as the LEADS framework and Collaborative content.
Should you have any questions about our plan for transitioning, please do not hesitate to contact Brenda Lammi, Vice-President, Professional & Leadership Development. Brenda will be happy to answer any questions.
Kind regards,
Your PLD Team!
