The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) and Emerging Health Leaders (EHL) have agreed to a new partnership to expand healthcare leaders’ capabilities in Canada and create a community of aspiring health leaders.
“With the belief that better leadership leads to the best care, both organisations are committed to developing a strong local presence and national programming” said Alain Doucet, CEO of CCHL. “Connecting aspiring and experienced leaders across the health continuum will also help create a path for health leadership succession in Canada.”
“We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with CCHL by further developing our relationship. Effective Leadership is more important than ever in today’s healthcare climate and EHL and CCHL further collaborating helps us all to step into 21st Century Leadership” said Doran Walker, Co-Chair of Emerging Health Leaders.
Local EHL Nodes and CCHL Chapter Executive teams are strengthening their relationships and developing collaborative sessions that meet the needs of health leaders at all stages of their careers. Local offerings such as speed mentoring, networking and educational sessions will increase member value across both organizations.
EHL Members in good standing will be offered the opportunity to join CCHL through the standard 4-year graduated entry fee structure and receive coupons to be used during the two initial years of membership towards one of the Colleges conferences or LEADS development courses. EHL Members in good standing will also be provided with preferred pricing to certain Chapter and National CCHL events.
The partnership will take effect on February 27, 2023. Existing and incoming EHL members will receive an email providing them their EHL membership number.
