The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) and LEADS Canada are proud to announce its newest program The Summit Series: An Advanced Leadership Program
This multi-faceted program is centred on a year-long series of modules related to one of the capabilities in the LEADS framework. Each month, participants will have an opportunity to expand their leadership knowledge and consider how theory and evidence relate to the context of modern-day health services and health leadership, with an emphasis on how they can apply their learning to their work.
Each module consists of:
- An online journal club, moderated by Dr. Jaason Geerts
- An interactive webinar hosted by a LEADS Canada facilitator
- A concise summary sheet of key learnings and reflection questions
- An online follow-up session to discuss applying the key learning to the workplace
- The opportunity to connect with a network health leaders and expert faculty
An academic article and journal club will be facilitated by Dr. Jaason Geerts that pertains to the module being explored each month.
The first webinar further explores the module and is facilitated by a LEADS Canada facilitator. After the webinar, participants will receive a concise summary of key learnings, along with reflection questions that will encourage them to apply the learning from the module to their work. The following online session is facilitated and will provide participants with the opportunity to discuss challenges, success stories, and further questions regarding how the key principles can be lived out in their everyday lives.
The Summit Series will benefit those who have previously participated in LEADS programs or for individuals who want a first exposure to the LEADS framework and its outstanding faculty.
Participants can register for individual modules or subscribe for the full series. CCHL members qualify for a reduced rate. This program is a great opportunity for CHE members to earn up to 5 MOC credits per module for a possible total of 60 over the course of the year.
The first module begins Thursday, March 12, 2020.
