Through this agreement, Digital Health Canada members will receive a reduced registration fee for the Certified Health Executive (CHE) Program. The CHE designation is the only certification program for all Canadian health leaders. This program offers individual leaders several benefits including support for lifelong learning in health services leadership; assistance with career advancement; peer recognition and serves as an essential career designation. In addition, each organization will deliver one webinar to each other’s membership community. Members of each organization will receive preferred rates for key events.
“Digital health and information management expertise will be essential to resolving the challenges facing the health system in the post-pandemic world, especially regarding health human resources and supply chain matters,” states Alain Doucet, CEO of the Canadian College of Health Leaders. “We believe this partnership will have an impact in the intersection between digital health transformation and leadership.”
“This alliance represents a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing the digital health landscape in Canada toward digitally connected and accessible healthcare for all,” says Mark Casselman, CEO, Digital Health Canada. “By collaborating to extend our members’ shared expertise and resources we can collectively strengthen the knowledge base of professionals in our industry and empower leaders to make a lasting impact on patient care and healthcare outcomes.”
Both Digital Health Canada and CCHL share a common interest in ensuring that Canada’s health leaders have the skills, knowledge and education needed to contribute to Canada’s healthcare system through ongoing professional development and lifelong learning. Together, they will grow and extend the connections between communities of health leaders and digital health innovators and provide connections, content and other opportunities.
